All actions under £100,000 are issued through the Claims Production Centre which is cheaper than your local County Court.

VAT is charged on costs not fees. VAT is not recoverable from the Debtor but can be reclaimed by you if VAT registered.
Invoices are issued to you at the end of each month for all work carried out in that month. Our terms are 7 days. You pay the amount shown in the *TOTAL column above regardless of whether the debt has been paid at that stage. In a successful action your Debtor pays the sum in the “DEBTOR PAYS” column above, this may be after our invoice has been issued. The Court calculate the fee on the total of the debt plus interest which may put the fee into the higher band. You will not recover the sum in the “NON-RECOVERABLE COSTS” column.
Defended actions are charged at our normal rate, which is highly competitive. Current rates will be provided on request.

Again these costs are invoiced to you at the end of the month, you pay the amount shown in the ** TOTAL column above regardless of whether the debt has been paid. These costs are based on default proceedings where the High Court Enforcement Officer (HCEO) or Bailiff is instructed. Judgment costs are calculated on the total of the balance of the debt plus the fixed costs and fees on issue plus interest. The Court calculate the execution fee on the Judgment total which may put the fee into the higher band (if the execution is NOT issued through the Northampton County Court bulk centre the court fee is increased by £10). If the Debtor files an Acknowledgment of Service the costs increase by £3 for debts up to £5,000 and by £5 on debts over £5,000. The HCEO will collect his charges from the debtor direct. However, in the event of him being unsuccessful he will charge you an abortive fee which is generally £60.00 plus vat per address visited. We will automatically instruct the HCEO in every case over £600.00.

- Our invoice terms are 7 days
We do not operate on normal trade terms of 30 days. We have to pay out all Court fees on your behalf when a Court Action is processed. Therefore we have already paid the Court fee on your behalf before we invoice you at the end of each month. That is the reason for our 7-day payment terms.
